Buffalo Stampede
The Buffalo Stampede began in 1998 as Senior Gold Project for Girl Scout Troop 208. The troop chose Mary Martha Outreach as the recipient of profits from the buffalo.

The Sculptress
The buffalo sculpture was created by Sandra Van Zant. Her commissioned work can be seen at places like the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Veterans Affairs Center.
Production
The individual buffalo models are produced by Artistic Replication Technology, located in Dewey, OK. Jesse Matlock's Auto Body and Repair in Dewey, Oklahoma has generously provided the clear coat on each of the buffalo.
