Community Garden

The MMO Community Garden

The MMO Community Garden is a place where clients and volunteers come together to grow, work and learn. Anyone who signs up to work in the garden for a few hours a week may take part in the garden's harvest. Most of the fruit and vegetables grown in the garden are given away through our Food Pantry and at Agapé Mission's on-site feeding program.

Our Community Garden project serves two purposes:

• To provide garden volunteers, Food Pantry clients, and other local agencies with fresh produce.
• To provide an opportunity for anyone who volunteers to learn gardening techniques from a master gardener.

If you are interested in volunteering, come visit us any Saturday morning and talk to Fred, or call him at 918-519-0579. Youth groups, church groups and other agencies are welcome to volunteer as well.

The Community Garden is a teaching garden where groups from churches, schools and other agencies can receive valuable instruction.
