The MMO Story
MMO and the Bartlesville Downtown Unlimited want to say thank you to everyone who has come together to make this event happen. Mary Martha Outreach founded in 1998 and located at 1845 SW 4th is one of the largest charities in northeastern Oklahoma and southern Kansas. MMO serves families and agencies as a regional distribution center for food, clothing and other critical needs.MMO Mission Statement
MMO, founded on Christian principles, is an organization that supplies food, clothing, furniture, household items, sundries and haircuts to all people regardless of origin race, color, gender or sexual orientation. MMO supplies all of these services at no charge in a manner that protects and upholds the dignity of individuals and encourages them to improve their quality of life through their own actions.MMO 2009 Statistics
MMO fed 814,263 lbs of food to 33,452 people. (people are eligible to receive food weekly) 237,877 garments and 14,434 pairs of shoes were given away. 8,505 families were helped in our crisis program: furniture, household items, haircuts, and sundries.A special thank you to this great hard working committee: Mark Haskell, Thad Satterfield, Daron Houston, Greg Ardoin, Steve McConnell,Denay Huddleston, Heath Osborn, Maria Gus, Trey Curtis, Tosha Wyatt, AJ and Jay Webster, and Chris Oldroyd.
