ShamROCK the Ville 5k Run

Shamrock the Ville 5k run buffalo mascot.Shamrock the 'Ville is a St. Patrick's Day celebration in downtown Bartlesville. Festivities include a 5K race, 1 mi. Fun Run, couch race, prizes and plenty of great costumes. All to benefit Mary Martha Outreach, a non-profit organization that provides necessary items to those in need.

Please help Mary Martha Outreach fight poverty in the 5 counties we serve! With the ever-increasing number of families coming into the mission for food, clothing and other essential services, it is our purpose to raise additional funds with this annual event. The less fortunate in this community have no idea what wonderful people there are here in Bartlesville who really care about them. You answer the call of the Lord every single time there is a need.

All of our proceeds go DIRECTLY to our critical need programs: food, clothing, and crisis at home and away.

5k Run (Or walk, there's no hurry!)

The 5K course is certified by USATF and winds through historic downtown Bartlesville. The 5K run is a chip-timed race with prizes to the top 3 racers (overall and by age/gender). The 1 mi. Fun Run is not timed. You can also cheer from the couch.

Get Your Green On!

You definitely don't want to miss the shenanigans at the couch race. The fun starts immediately following the 5K, and the course is adjacent to the finish line. Decorated couches on wheels driven by the best looking furniture pushers you've ever seen. Come cheer on the fun! Use the contact form to sponsor a couch.

History

ShamROCK the Ville was first held on St. Patrick's Day weekend in 2010. That year we had 250 runners. In 2014, there were 742 registered runners. Proceeds from registration fees benefit MMO's outreach programs.
